Parago Software… The Story So Far
Parago Software has developed Parago, the first fully web based PC Discovery and Software Asset Management system with a data hosting facility.
Parago Software established a requirement through initial conversations around IT Asset Management within SME and Professional Organisations. Many companies are holding information on their IT and non IT assets in a spreadsheet. This does not reflect an up to date status, particularly on installed software. Regular audits are unrealistic and not an efficient use of people's time. Other asset management solutions available to commercial enterprise are either too complicated or expensive to justify.
Parago automatically collects data from all computers across multiple locations into one central source. This is a critical requirement for companies with laptops being used off site. This is because companies need to be aware of unlicensed software being installed on computers even when off site. Parago is able to report back these changes via the internet even when not connected to the company network.
Our Goal
Our goal is to provide a solution that exceeds the expectations of all small to medium enterprises. In particular addressing the issues and providing solutions for incentives raised for companies that have multiple locations and employees with company owned laptops. In summer 2007 Parago had its 1,000th subscriber and extended its user base outside of the UK.
