The Parago team are proud to announce the launch of Software metering on February 1^st 2010, another development to the Parago system. This will be included as part of your annual support and update charge to all our current subscribers!

Software metering is an addition to the SAM system already present within Parago. With this update, you can now not only tell what software is installed on a machine, but also how often. Utilizing this information enables our customers to distribute their licences more effectively or even reduce the amount they purchase, saving them even more money on licensing!

The Parago team are proud to announce the Power Consumption Meter, another development to the Parago system included as part of your annual support and update charge! You will find the new Power Consumption Meter on your ‘home’ page under ‘shortcuts’ and ‘energy’.

You can now determine electricity costs on all main ICT products such as servers, PCs, laptops, printers and audio visual equipment. From this information you can report on savings being made by the policies you put in place such as turning equipment off at set times/hours. It’s not just calculating the savings for you… it also works out your CO₂.

Being able to show you are implementing policies to saving money and the environment is an important step forward for us all. Now you can have all the information in with your asset management solution… Parago!
